Free batch coordinate converter
Converting coordinates one at a time is slow. This batch converter takes a whole list of up to 1,000 coordinates and converts it between WGS84, degrees minutes seconds (DMS), degrees decimal minutes (DDM), MGRS and UTM, or to Plus Codes, in one step. Results are returned in the same order as your input, so they are easy to copy back into a spreadsheet or GIS tool.
Each converted coordinate is also shown as a marker on the map, which makes it quick to spot a typo or a point in the wrong place. For a single location, use the coordinate converter.
Frequently asked questions
How many coordinates can I convert at once?
You can convert up to 1,000 coordinates per batch. Enter one coordinate per line.
Which coordinate formats does the batch converter support?
You can enter WGS84 (latitude, longitude), DMS, DDM, MGRS or UTM coordinates and convert them to WGS84, DMS, DDM, MGRS, UTM or Plus Codes.
How should I format my list of coordinates?
Put one coordinate on each line. For WGS84, write latitude and longitude separated by a comma, for example 40.7484, -73.9857. A format hint under the input box shows an example for the selected input format.
Can I see the converted coordinates on a map?
Yes. After conversion every coordinate is shown as a marker on a map, and clicking a marker shows which line of your list it belongs to.
Can I automate batch conversion?
Yes. The batch conversion endpoint is part of our API, so you can convert large lists of coordinates directly from your own application.
